Thanks for guiding me to your portfolio by your comment. This simple, "Open Arms' bare tree against the gray sky drew my attention immediately. I love this type of photograph and appreciate that you believed in your instincts to shoot it and put it in put it in your portfolio. I looked at all of them: A few of my favorites were: the "Mercury" with all of t's grittiness; "Union Station Night" - sharp, well-composed; The ferris wheel in "Fair" - shot at a perfect angle; and of course, "Friend." "Velvet" has nice layered look - good choice for this shot. Nice work -all of it. You step out of the envelope a bit and go for many different looks with varied artistic expression. Wonderful photos!

Sometimes I think the same way, that less is more...creative use of "white space," so to speak. I have a similar image with a little bird on a tree.
