I'm not sure how this is going to go over it's a bit darker than my usual dark art, but anyway here it is. The girl's photo is from the very talented tracie76stock, the background is from istock and taken by shaunt and there's a bunch of personal stuff thrown in there for good measure. Thank you very much for viewing!

I've been looking forward to seeing this image here on this site, so I could tell you that I like your new expression. This image really tells a story. I agree with Klaudia - there is someting ghostly about the girl. Wonderful image!

Love the mood on this. Dark and gloomy. But enough light to say that there is hope. One of my favorites.

I like it, I always go a little heavier on the darker side, it seems to add graphic oomph to an image. Been spending a lot of time in artlimited and photonet, maybe I'll see you there. But nothing is like NAPP. best, jared Martin

Kaycee - I continue to wander through your portfolio as it inspires (and amazes) me! You were wondering about the "darker" feel of this image - I love it! In fact, I think all of your "darker" images (be it tonality or mood) hit me with a more powerful emotion! If Art = Emotion, you've got the equation solved perfectly!

Lovely. I think I actually prefer your darker work, or at least the pieces that have a strong sense of decay to them. But I love the aesthetic of rot...

Jun 9, 2008 | Kaycee Kennedy
Ha ha I couldn't agree more John there is something about rotting buildings that makes things so much more interesting!
