Bery beautiful!

This is a beautiful, delicate capture - "most unusual and inspiring," which is hard to find in floral shots.

Barbara and Viktoriva, thank you. It was natural light in a hot house, but the sun was only peeking through the highest windows. It created sort of a natural glow. Mary Ann, thank you. While I shoot a lot of florals, I try to find the ones that speak to me. This flower was physically difficult to get to, tucked behind many larger, more colorful ones. When I caught a glimpse of it, I could almost hear the roar of bagpipes or a similar blast...as if it were calling out for its due attention. Jim

It was definitely worth the trouble! I love how the light is shining softly as if it is still in the process of opening and about to reveal a secret....

Barbara, thanks again. Every time that I pick up my camera, I try to make it an adventure...even if it is just a drive across town. It is all about the escape. Jim

Jim, thank you for your comment. Your flowers are delicate and beautiful, your infrareds, striking. Your blue "bondage" at first glance looked like snake skin, pretty cool. You have a wide variety in your portfolio Jim. Very nice!

Thank you Cindy. What you call "wide variety" my wife calls "schizophrenic." :) Jim

The thumb does no justice for this shot at all, I had no idea it was this beautiful, a perfect flower!

Thank you Kaycee. Now that you mention it, only centered compositions seem to look decent in the thumbs.
