Thanks Lindsay. This portrait of Ryan is one of the few that I kept close to the original photo. For some reason I liked the "hot" highlights produced by the mid-day sun. That’s usually a photographer’s nightmare. I just felt it really portrayed Ryan’s fair baby soft skin. That’s why I added a pure white spot to his chin…I felt it gave him that “cutie pie” type look. One might argue that the light couldn’t really hit him like that but because it’s so small your brain tends to just ignore it. However, visually it dresses him up.
