The original photo was a shot taken during a program celebrating the horse at our local Old Cowtown Museum in Wichita, Kansas. I was doing studies of the horse tack and the riders choice of clothing/gear. This image interested me more than the others but lighting was not ideal, so I applied sever effects in Photoshop to give it a line-art look and then I hand colored the tonality into the image.
