Imogene Pass, Ouray Colorado. Many times when you reach the peak of a mountain pass in the middle of summer you're greeted with clouds that turn what could be a fantastic view into a foggy mist, or worse, a lightning storm. However, on this family vacation we left early at our guides suggestions and found this few awaiting us for enough time to get several hand held photos for stitching later in Photoshop.

Your varied portfolio shows so much talent! I would be hard to pick but the bent tree would be my first choice...ALL are beautiful in their own wonderful ways . I truely enjoy you remarks under the images too:) ila

Thanks so much for your nice comments on my portfolio Ila. And I'm glad you appreciate the sometimes lengthy footnotes. Many believe an image needs to stand on its own. I believe there is an added value to having a little history or knowing a bit more information about the photograph beyond what you can see.
