Taken this past Spring at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC, this is of a Yoshino Cherry tree that is very popular spot for wedding pictures. I've named it the "Dragon Tree."

The shadows, highlights and midtones are spot on. But most of all I love the textures in the tree. One ages and is blessed with wrinkles of time.
I think of each mar as character lines:)

I am sorry, I didn't answer your question on my Buffalo shot. The shot I took is actually in Colorado Springs, Co. It was taken in February as part of a much larger heard moved for cover as the snow started to pour in over the mountains. Take care. Randy

This is a fascinating and beautiful image. It fires the imagination. Imagine how old this valiant tree must be. The perspective makes it even more memorable. It looks like the results the 10-22 Canon lens will produce--one of my favorites.
