While covering a local fall evening dinner event, I wondered outside this century old limestone castle during cocktails, just to study the architecture. It was nearly dark as the sun set early on this late October evening. I spotted this guest of the party in the window visiting with someone just outside our view; her bright red dress matched the warm incandescent lit interior, peach colored walls, and tall, formal curtains. The patterns on the glass reflecting the silhouette of a tree, all tinted blue by the nighttime sky and my camera's color balance setting for tungsten interior, set earlier while shooting indoors. Simple but elegant.
