DO NOT GET THIS CLOSE TO A POLAR BEAR IN THE WILD. This was taken at Cape Churchill on Hudson Bay using a Canon 5D at 105mm and F/7.1 handheld with +1 exp and processed in CS3 and Aperture. This bear stuck his head in my Tundra Buggy window and gave me the chance to drop down to the floor and get this upward chin capture perspective

Hi Joel. The opportunity presented itself and was fleeting but it is one of my favorites and hangs in my office. They are such magnificent animals and this was about as close as a human can get and survive to tell the tail. Glad you liked it.

Hi Marci and thank you for visiting and leaving a comment. I never though I would get this kink of shot and is one of my favorites.
