Thank-you Charles for the comment. Yes, it can be tedious; however, a large part of the restoration process is like the stipple-dot pen & ink technique that I used to use in the traditional media days using a technical pen. Maybe this will serve as a clue to my approach. It is only possible, now, with the digital drawing tablet. John Steele

What's so great is that your updated photos look like freshly taken vintage shots. I'm sure people want to keep that "old" look about them.

Thank-you Kaycee. The one and only original as you can see is falling apart for whatever reason. This lady's 3 sons and recently widowed husband wanted a renewal of the original with no 'artsy' stuff, not even colorization. OK, I can give them exactly what they want; no more - no less. The surviving family can greave for quite a while and I think that this is one. JS
