Barbara, thanks for commenting on my portfolio. Being new at all of this, I'm not quite sure how these comments work, so I'm stumbling around here. I, too, had looked at your photos and read the captions. The "Ben Lovd" truck got my attention right away, but the "Dragonfly" is my favorite. It's an amazing shot and very well presented.

Great subject. I could spend an hour or two on a target like that. I would love to see how the textures and contrast of this and others from that set looked in monochrome.

Thank you Barbara for the wonderful comment on Mothers Hands. After she past away I felt funny about taking photos of her like it was taboo or something that you just shouldn't be doing. I took about 5 photos of her that day plus I was alone when I did it so no one would know. I'm so happy now that I did it. Brothers ,aunts and uncles all have one. I think it was away of letting go.

Thanks for your comments on my turtle...I've just taken a tour of your amazing portfolio and am so impressed with your work. I've learned much just by seeing a little of what you see...I also enjoy working with things "old" like trucks, etc. You gave me an idea...adding/creating a license plate that gives meaning to the antique...just for fun.

Thanks, John! Yes, the hardest part was finding the right font. Much harder than I thought!

Barbara, I appreciate your posting a comment in my portfolio. I'm addicted to painting photos with PS! This truck would make a wonderful subject!
