It's for copyright protection. Presently, this is a hobby and as far as selling images, I haven't had the time to look into that area yet, so I really don't know. Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it. John

This is a combination of everything I love: Old wood, industrial equipment, crashing waves, perfect lighting - and, oh, so perfectly composed, as are all of your shots. I noticed your name at the bottom of all of your photographs. Is this something to associate you with the photograph, or is it a copyright protection? I'm about to step into the copyright arena and know how to embed file info and water marks, as well as filing for copyright, but I've been told that the images cannot be sold to stock houses if copyrighted? True? Sorry to bother you with this question, but I'm in a steep learning curve right now and trying to put it all together.
