Incredible collage work! I can practically hear the sirens and the rush of water and feel the flames and heat. The splashes of red evoke the feelings of sacrifice that go in to this profession - your fireman must have been very moved by this creation, especially if it was a commemorative piece.

Cindy, sometimes the only chance I get to see another's portfolio is when a comment is left and I, in turn, reply. I was awed by your work as I went through each image; however, when I came to this one, the Commission for Fireman, I went no further without writing to you. This is what I consider a perfect work of art, as are your others, but this one gets to me. Your portfolio is the sort of thing I want to send out to everyone I know and say, "Look, look at this girl's work!" For someone with your talent to comment on one of my photographs is truly an honor. Thank you, Cindy. When I drive around urban L.A. and find that I can't get a block without taking 75 shots, I realize that it's not me that creates the material for my portfolio - I simply discover what's out there for others to appreciate, for those who's lives are hectic and must be focused on other than the mundane along the streets and back alleys. That's what photographers and artists get to do, and some day down the road, someone will look at a composite or photograph, smile and be grateful that someone was looking and documenting all of this for them.

I am proud to be a fireman's wife, and this is a beautiful testament to the job they do. Thank you!

Cindy,
You're collage work is remarkably creative. Good to see this quality of work coming from Kansas. Well done.

Hi Cindy, Sorry for my visual dyslexia, looks like you're not from Kansas. I sometimes look at text as just two dimensional graphics instead of words. However, this takes nothing away from the fact of your remarkable work. Thanks, Ricardo.

I love all your photos in your NAPP portfolio, especially the collages. Did you learn to do these by using a certain tutorial posted on NAPP? If so, may I ask which one? I love your feature photo also. The painted affect is really cool!! Thanks for sharing.
