Inspired by the 'grave yard' photography thread. Mine is a combination of painting (the sky, vegitation and rubble) and compositing. It was also the toughest day to night conversion I've done so far.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! I'll have to get faster at posting next time I see you've made EC. This image has really evolved since I last saw it. It looks spooky and real - nice composite job.

Very cool and creepy, I love the way the markers are lit around the edges from the moonlight..

Thanks, Kaycee! I'm really enjoying the gloom and doom lately. How weird is that? ~Lisa

Thank you!! It's always amazing to me when anyone outside of my immediate family compliments my work!! Family is pretty much obligated to say something nice so it's easy to shrug off, but you guys; well, that just makes my day!!! Thank you!!! ~Lisa

Wonderfully spooky and moody with just the right amount of reverence and the slightest hint of melancholy.

Your technique makes a truely believable setting. Commendations to you! Question; does this place exist, in part maybe? John Steele
Aug 3, 2008 | Lisa Sage
Thank you, John! The headstones definitely exist, just not as a group and the building is a cross section of an old cathedral. The shrubbery and the field had what looked like a plantation mansion way off in the distance but is now blocked by the building. The sky, tree line, vines, webs, and mist are products of my imagination and brushes. Shoot! I just noticed that at this size you really can't see the vines or webs on the headstones. :-(

Fabulous. I love the "misting", makes you feel it was a chilly night. Wonderfully done Lisa.
